Welcome to the Warsop NMT
The Prime Minister launched a National Strategy Action Plan on 15 January 2001.
The Strategy sets out the Government’s vision for making areas of need or disadvantage better places to work and live, so that:
‘Within 10 to 20 years, no-one should be seriously disadvantaged by where they live.’ |

The aim is to deliver:
- Economic prosperity
- Safer communities
- High quality education
- Decent housing
- Better health in areas that need the greatest support
Neighbourhood Renewal Funding is one way of contributing to these aims.
Twelve priority areas of Mansfield & District are currently in receipt of the Government’s Neighbourhood renewal funding. One of these areas is Warsop, where the local fund is managed by the Neighbourhood Management Team (Warsop NMT). The team is led by residents and work closely with local councillors and service providers, to bring about improvements to Warsop in line with the Government’s floor targets for Neighbourhood Renewal, which are: Crime, Education & Skills, Employment & Economies, Health & Housing, and Liveability.
