The
first Community Award, which has been instigated by the NMT
to recognise individuals who voluntarily give their services
to benefit the Warsop community, was presented to Sindy Saxton
for her dedication to the Guiding movement in Warsop.
Chairman
of the NMT, Stuart Moody, said “It is a great privilege
to be able to present this, our first award. Sindy is a deserving
candidate and this is our way of saying thanks for all the
hard work she has put in over the last 18 years.Well done,
Sindy.”

The award, although not having
any monetary value, recognises individuals who voluntarily
give their services for the benefit of the wider Warsop
Community.

Anybody is eligible, providing
the service they give is voluntary (paid workers who work
for the benefit of Warsop as part of their job are not eligible).

There are no other requirements
for the award, the panel will judge who will receive the
award purely on the reasons and evidence that the proposer
gives.
