Following the success of the 2007 dvd that raised £3,000 towards Warsop Carnival 2008, I am now collecting old film footage for a new dvd to be released later this year to raise funds for the 2009 Carnival. If anyone has any footage that I can use, please contact me either by e.mail or at the Town Hall. I will consider any footage of Warsop, Carnivals, jazz band competitions, street parties, Welbeck and Warsop Main pits etc. either on cine film, video tape or dvd. In return for the use of your film I will have a copy of your footage put onto dvd for you at no charge. I am looking for anything local over the past 50 years. | |

Calling all Community Groups and Charitable Organisations in Warsop Parish!. Just to let you know this years Community Christmas Event will take place on the evening of Thursday 4th December 2008 and we would like to offer you all an opportunity to take part in these celebrations. If you would like to rent a market stall on the night for fundraising purposes or wish to provide some form of entertainment we would love to hear from you at W.P.R.A. Office (opposite the Talbot) or give Julie or Lee a call on Mansfield 840005 We are also considering whether to start up a charities/community group fund-raising market one Thursday of each month and would like to ask groups to register their interest in this venture. |

Fire & Rescue (Warsop) are carrying out FREE Home Safety Checks. They provide and install smoke detectors, and carry out a full safety check of your home and offer advice. A member of fire personnel will contact you to arrange a convenient time to carry out the check. |

over 50 at a subsidised price they can afford. Border work, Weeding,
Mowing, Tidying and General maintenance. Work will be carried out
by disabled people who are on Nottinghamshire County Council’s
