The Three Parishes Sponsored Walks will be held on Sunday 11th May 2008, starting at the Tudor Barn, Church Warsop at 10am. Register from 9am (anyone walking the 12 mile walk – experienced walkers only – will start at 9am and will need a map). It is a major opportunity for groups and organisations to raise funds for themselves or a chosen charity. Individuals can also walk to raise money for a charity of their choice.

How Can Your Group/Organisation Benefit?
1. Fill in the Registration Form and return to Tania Barlow, Town Hall, Church Street, Warsop, Mansfield Notts NG20 0AL – you will be given a registration number.
2. Recruit volunteers (as many as you want) to walk a route for your group.
3. Record your walkers names of the Recording Form and Registration Forms. (These are to be handed in to the stewards at the Tudor Barn on the day)
4. Give each walker a Sponsorship Form and ask them to obtain sponsors. Non-walkers can also get sponsors for those who are walking. One sponsorship form is provided in this pack, you can photocopy as many as you like or call in at the Town Hall for more.
5. Remember to write your group’s name and reg. number on each form you issue.

On The Day of The Walks
1. Hand in the cards with the names of your walkers to a steward at The Tudor Barn
2. After the walk collect in the sponsor money – this is for your group/organisation/charity.
3. Record the total on the Funds Raised Recording Form and return it to the address above.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
If you have not completed two thirds of your walk by 2pm please return to base using the shortest route. If you have a mobile phone, please leave your number when registering to walk and keep the phone switched on during the walk, this will enable base to get in touch with you if necessary. On the day of the walk you will be given a mobile phone number to contact should you need any help. There will be members of Raynet on duty on various sections of the routes to ensure that everyone is safe and are there to help and guide anyone they will also return anyone back to base who is experiencing problems.
