MINUTES of the Parish Council meeting held on MONDAY 15th MARCH, 2010 at
the Oaklands Centre held after the Annual Parish Meeting as there was not
much time available the Chairman condensed the agenda in order to deal with
the most important business.
Present: Cllrs. S. Moody (Chairman), E. Hill (Vice-Chair), J. Kerr, P. Crawford,
S. Shields, A. Wetton and B. Lilley (Mansfield District Councillors), B. Smith,
D. Priest, M. Kavanagh and J. Allin (Nottinghamshire County Councillor).

8374. CRIME AND DISORDER – PC Dave Booler addressed the meeting and gave his report highlighting that crime figures are down from this time last year.
8375. PLANNING & APPLICATIONS
a. Meden Farm Bungalow, Forest Road – fence/wall & gates
b. Land at Park Hall – outline for 18 hole golf course & hotel
c. (Old Scout Camp) Blakeley Ln – works & removal of trees
The planning committee left the room whilst Cllr. J. Allin made comments regarding
b. He wished to object due to the access being off the A60.
P. Crawford also commented that clarification is needed on c.
The Clerk is to request plans for b & c.
8376. WARSOP CARNIVAL – The Chairman reported that the AGM had taken place and a new committee has been formed and the proposed date is Sunday 18th July. The Mayor attended the meeting and pledged that the Carnival will become part of the programme of “Summer in the Streets”. He wished to thank the Mayor for his support.
